We are committed to building a diverse internship program which will help to cultivate a more diverse community

The GIFTZ Center is are looking for students with a strong quantitative background who are about to complete a undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Islamic Studies or equivalent, to support their research activities.

As a member of the team, the selected candidate will conduct research on several policy issues, and have the opportunity to collaborate to different research projects and participate in meetings with funding organisations. The tasks will include the following:

  • Data collection, cleaning and visualisation.
  • Analysing survey responses and follow-up with respondents.
  • Summarise findings in written form.
  • Assist in organising seminars, workshops and other meetings.


Applicants for internships should submit application materials for any of the internships listed below at any time. We begin reviewing applications in November for the spring semester (January-May), in March for the summer semester (May-August), and in June for the fall semester (August-December) and continue on a rolling basis. Start dates, end dates, and weekly schedules are flexible.

  • A cover letter
  • A recent resume/CV
  • Updated transcripts
  • Recommendation Letter from the University Registration
  • A recommendation letter from the Faculty
